International programmes and workshop series
I am excited about new applications of particle-physics tools to gravity, and I believe that solving the binary-modelling problem will require different communities to work together. To work towards this, I helped start a series of meetings bringing together researchers working on scattering amplitudes, gravitational self-force and related approaches to binary dynamics. These meetings are extremely important to me: they provide a space to share methods and techniques, build long-lasting collaborations, and work together on the challenging problem of modelling binary systems and their gravitational-wave signals.
Programme series
2027 — GGI, Florence
GGI programme main coordinator and organiser (with Béatrice Bonga, Rossella Gamba, Chris Kavanagh, Jan Plefka, Adam Pound and Piero Rettegno), Synergies for Black-Hole Binaries: from Perturbative Techniques to Strong-Field Gravity, Florence. Major international six-week programme, with five focused weeks and one conference week.
2027 — ICTP-SAIFR / Principia, São Paulo
ICTP-SAIFR programme organiser (with Alexandre Le Tiec, Adam Pound, Chris Kavanagh and Riccardo Sturani), All Roads Lead to Waveforms: GSF, PM, PN and All That, São Paulo. Two-week programme including a PhD school and a workshop.
2026 — Nordita, Stockholm
Nordita programme main coordinator and organiser (with Lucile Cangemi, Paolo Di Vecchia, Chris Kavanagh, Adam Pound and Geraint Pratten), Amplitudes, Strong-Field Gravity, and Resummation, Stockholm. Two-week programme including a PhD school and a workshop, with about 120 participants.
2025 — University of Southampton
Workshop organiser (with Chris Kavanagh, Zach Nasipak, Jan Plefka and Adam Pound), 2nd Annual Workshop on Self-Force and Amplitudes, Southampton. One week workshop with about 70 participants.
2024 — Higgs Centre, Edinburgh
Workshop main coordinator and organiser (with Chris Kavanagh, Adam Pound and Mao Zeng), Gravitational Self-Force and Scattering Amplitudes, Edinburgh. One week workshop with about 40 participants.

Funding
